Conveyor and Correlator Pit Redesign
I was commissioned by a national car wash equipment manufacturing company to create construction plans to modify the conveyor and correlator pit for a car wash in Yonkers whose design was flawed. Originally, the grading of the conveyor pit was not sufficiently transporting runoff water to the reclaim pit. Additionally, I was tasked with finding a solution to the fact that the vehicle transportation belt was not aligned with the geometric centerline of the car wash, meaning that the design of the exit of the car wash had to be significantly modified.
